Evinrude E-Tec

These engines come with a 5 year non declining warranty and do not require a full service for 3 years or 300 hours.
We do advise that these engines still need basic maintenance this can be done by the owner or we can offer an annual checkover and service for a moderate cost.

Four Stroke

These generally need an annual or every 100 hour service either refer to your owners handbook or call us for details of your service interval.

Winterising

When laying up your engine for any long period of time or at the end of the season it should be winterised. This includes adding fuel conditioner, oiling the cylinders, greasing and spraying the engine with anti corrosion sprays for protection.

Parts & Mail Order Spares & Accessories:

We stock a vast range of genuine BRP/Evinrude/Johnson/Tohatsu spares and accessories  either call in or we can usually dispatched items within 24 hours of order.
Parts for other makes are usually in stock or can be obtained at very competitive prices within 48 hours.
To obtain prices please send full details of you requirements together with the make and model of engine together with the serial number (This number is usually found on the bracket mounting the engine to the boat).

Propellers in Stock: 

The correct propeller / boat match can produce better performance and greater fuel economy.
Powertech Marine are dedicated to getting the best out of your engine. 
Our vast experience will usually provide the correct propeller for your engine first time. Matching the correct propeller to the hull type and required use of the boat is never an exact science which is why we offer this special service for engine buyers.
We carry one of the largest stocks of propellers and will allow owners to try different propellers on their boat should the performance be less than expected with the horse power chosen.
Testing can take place using the 24hour slipway here at Northney and propeller changing is free of charge for the first three changes when you buy an engine from us.
We have both stainless steel and alluminium props in stock. Call us for specific requirements.
